Born and raised in New Delhi, India, Ashwin cut his advertising teeth in Auckland, New Zealand. Over the last decade he’s been a part of some of the best creative agencies in New Zealand and Australia.
Ashwin has established a reputation for work that ‘does’ rather than just ‘says’. In his time, he’s hijacked a live broadcast watched by a billion people for Adidas, auctioned items rescued from the sea to help the Coast Guard, organised celebrity Man-Sitters to help ladies enjoy National Girls’ Night Out for Lindauer Sparkling Wine, made the World Memory Champion recite every specification of the new Nissan range, and created 10-storey tall street portraits in Sydney for ANZ featuring inspiring locals.
At TBWA\ he is responsible for the creative output of the agency’s clients, including PR and Social. Ashwin also leads the Disruption Live team which fuses brands into culture in real time. He takes a keen interest in mentoring fresh talent, having tutored Award School in Australia. He’s always on the lookout for opportunities to give back to the creative community in Auckland.
